Cookie House Registry Project

A group of tourers is working to document pictures and stories of the visitors June Curry has had at the Cookie House from 1976 until now. If you've been a recipient of her hospitality, please take a minute to check out the registry at the link below and leave a message in the guestbook about your experiences so you can be added to the registry. I'm sure June and those putting the journal together would be thrilled to have as many contributions as possible. If you'd like more information, the project is explained more thoroughly at the site as well.
Thanks!

What a great idea. I've actually got three days that involved the Cookie Lady, if that makes any difference...

Wonder if the guitar's still there?

Cool! Right now they're looking for you to register the date(s) of your visit(s). You can also write up any rememberances now or later if you'd like. And I can check for a guitar there this summer!

I finally narrowed the date I was there to either August 22 or 23, 1977. I was east bound and it was before noon. I had heard about her from West bound riders since Kansas. I stopped and filled my waterbottles and chatted with her father for a few minutes. I never met June in person.

I'd be more curious to see if anyone's written about the guitar since.

I'm already on the site you linked. I was at the house for two nights, and so three days total, but only the first is linked above.
