A group of tourers is working to document pictures and stories of the visitors June Curry has had at the Cookie House from 1976 until now. I finally narrowed the date I was there to either August 22 or 23, 1977. I was east bound and it was before noon. I had heard about her from West bound riders since Kansas. I stopped and filled my waterbottles and chatted with her father for a few minutes. I never met June in person.
