Cycle friendly lodging near Amsterdam, Holland

Howdy,

I'm going to tour the provinces of North and South Holland in April and am looking for one night of lodging in or near Amsterdam. I'm looking for a place that will allow me to roll into their lobby and keep my rig in the room (road bike plus B.O.B. Yak). Other nights I have it figured out. If it is outside Amsterdam, being near a train station would be ideal. Thanks!

Mike

While on tour I've camped at this campground on an island just outside the center, though in the summer. https://www.campingzeeburg.nl/
They have cabins, in case of poor weather.

Try this link https://holland.cyclingaroundtheworld...y-camping.html
Hope it helps. You also have hotels called Formular 1 they are cheap, last time i used it it was 15e per night, you get 1 double bed and a top bunk. If you book it by credit card you get a reservation number. When you get there in the night, no porters, you stick in your card and you get a pin number, this will let you in the hotle and also in to you room. Keep this number on you as you will need it to entre your room at any time, this is your key. I am sure if you speak to the guy at the time of the booking they will be ok about the bikes, personally I would just do it but come in at about 9pm on

If available, a packed lunch on your request will be charged at a maximum of € 3,50. At a few addresses dinner is served if requested for a fixed price of about € 8,-- per person. If you wish to make reservations please contact the chosen address, preferably some days or weeks in advance, but in any case no later then 24 hours before your arrival. You may call between 8 and 10 a.m. or between 6 and 8 p.m.

If you want to stay at one of our addresses you are obliged to show your membershipcard (“donateurskaart”). One card covers one family.
