A few questions for Randonnuers

I have been reading alot on the web about Ranbdonnuering; I think it might be something I would like to try. For those of you in the know - is there a specific forum or website devoted to Randonnuering that has a forum for asking questions? If not, is there a particular area in the Bike Forum website that Randonnuers hang out in?

I have a lot of questions; your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

We're working on getting a forum here for long distance cycling, and I hope it will be available soon ... the Randonneuring season in well underway in many areas of the world.

Meanwhile, however, you can check out the links on my website (see my website in the signature line below):

And if you have any questions, I'd be happy to try to answer them. I've been doing this for 5 years now. :)

There is a new Randonneuring club where I live in Nova Scotia.

Been thinking about going out on a few rides with them, but my butt aches just even saying the word Randonneur.

Nice Marinoni Machka. Sport/touring frame I believe? Very similar to what I have.

How does one spend 90 hours and 1200km in a saddle? My hat is off to your mental toughness.

Since you list Washington as your location you should check out the Seatle International Randoneurs website: http://www.seattlerandonneur.org/ they're a great group and not too far from you.
