OMM Red Rocks Rear Rack Opinions?

Just wondering how OMM Red Rocks rack owners like them? How stiff are they for heavy touring loads?

    safe riding,

    OMM Red Rocks

Hi Vic: I recently purchases a Red Rocks rear rack from OMM for a tandem tour with my daughter. It lists a 60 pound load capacity and although my load wasn't any where near 60 pounds I was extremely happy with the purchase. A little pricey but worth it.

I also have the Red Rock and although I've only used it on very short loaded trips last year on my commuter/ tourer, I can tell it's rock solid as any other that's out there. You have the option of mounting the rack struts at the canti bosses or by using longer struts, mount them at traditional seatstay eyelets. I mounted mine at the eyelets using custom homemade struts from some aluminum stock.
