Today.
I have opened summer biking season. It was't good time to do it. When I was going to ride the weather was't fine, but appropriate for riding. And I decided to go out by bike. When I have receded from my home started strong rain, but I decided to continue my riding. And as you can understand when I came home I and my "IRON HORSE" were weat and diarty. I'll post pictures later.
I wish to EVERYBODY good weather and good mood. All that needed for good biking !!!

It's very interesting to look at the photographs of cycling areas from various countries. Mountains are particularly gorgeous as well as a sea coast.
I also like modest beauty of our fields and forests near to Moscow. Long winter is over, let's cycle!

Alex, why don't you start a thread about touring in Russia? It would be interesting to know how difficult it would be with the language barriers, how far between places where you can get supplies, where are the most scenic areas etc.

I honestly thought it was winter all year long in Russia. I also thought it was all flat, and that there were hardly any trees...
well, now I know better.

Pigtire, between you and The Fixer people are going to start getting the wrong sort of ideas and start thinking that southern California looks like it really does and not what it looks like on TV. Stop it!

Hi, Denis V.
This is me and my wife training in the south of Holland (where Holland, Belgium and Germany meet).
We'll be riding from Maastricht, The Netherlands to Barcelona, Spain in about 3 weeks.
