100 miles and no beer-darn
Man I did a computation on the calories I burned yesterday on my first century. After having lunch and drinking some sport drinks along the way as well as some gel packs I consumed 100 plus calories more than I burned. Bummer. I was som bummed I didn't even want a post ride beer. That would only add insult to injury.
You need a new bike
No recovery beer? Come now. Surely you have an error in your calculations! Don't forget your basil metabolism which is probably about 1800-2000 calories per day on top of the energy you burn while riding.
