    pocketmail

    hi folks,
another quick ?, im really into the idea of getting a pocketmail for my tour cross coutnry, however i cant seem to get a hold of the company - they have the single worst customer support i have ever seen.
i want to buy just a 3 month subscription, but it seems like from the u.s. site it is impossible - they want a 1 year committment.
it seems that australia's branch sells monthly passes - will these work in the us,
    any advice,
    thanks,
    jeff borland

My recollection is that pocketmail.com deliberately doesn't sell shorter subscriptions, so that they don't undercut their resellers.

One such reseller is http://www.campingworld.com/browse/s...21313&src=SRQB. This seems to include a 3-month subscription. They are also available at many truckstops in the US.

    RE: Pocketmail service plans

I just went to the website - I found 3 a month service plan - click on the link that says "service plans" on the main page. I used a 3 month service plan last year for a ride cross country.

I bought a 3 month subscription in Australia that I used in the US without any issues.

The device worked amazingly well from all sorts of decrepid payphones, and I would heartely recommend it - the only downside is the rubber keyboard which takes some getting used to and can get frustating (you have to push the keys quite hard right in the middle)
