any trouble with brooks from lickbike.com?

lickbike.com seems to have the best deal on brooks b17s at $55. I ordered a b67 from them a few years back, which i no longer have. The saddle seemed in good shape until the leather slowly started to move to one side. Im wondering if, because the prices are so low, they sell seconds or something like that.

If you like, call Lickton's and ask for Robin. If he's not available, call back. He'll give you the straight scoop. Lickton's does a big mail order business and though they have a street presence, the store is not a typical bike shop as the sales floor is pretty small. I consider them one of my LBSs, they are less than two miles from me. Locals sometimes refer to it as "Friendly Bob's Bike Shop" a tongue in cheek reference to the owner Bob Lickton.

I ordered my b.17 from them about a month or so ago. They are no different from a brooks bought anywhere else. I have bought a number of things from lickton's over the passed year with no regrets.

Santa Fe Bike Shop has the best prices on Brooks, plus the owner is a Bike Forums member (and great guy)

He sold me a B-67 at a sale price when it wasn't even on the sale list. So, a couple weeks later, I bought a second one. Nice folks.

I've ordered a number of times from Lickton's and I'm getting ready to do so again. They've always come through for me, have a wild selection of many things, generally have the best price and if not... Lickton's Pricing

Cheers,

I bought my B17 from them about a year ago. They sent it to me pronto and I still don't see any defects.
I glad I finally listened and got a Brooks!
