Vintage Style Roadbike Fenders

Does anyone here use those metal after-market road bike fenders for 27 inch wheeled road bikes? I have an older road bike I'd like to equip with metal after market fenders that will look reasonably appropriate for 70s ten speed vintage. Chrome, black metal are both fine. What is the going price for such things and what are the best sources online (or located in the DC area)?
