I talked to my local waterman today and he says the crabs are mosters this year...I'm a native from Da'Burgh too...and love to visit back home to hilly SWPA. Come on down to the Shore and ride with us...the crabs and beer after the ride will make it all worth the trip!

Have you connected Eastern Md (< I AM staying on topic here :- ) to Pittsburgh yet via the C & O TowPath to the new Allegeheny (whatever it is called) to Pittsburgh ????
I headed out of DC a few years back thinking I was making my way to D'Burgh but found a great left hand turn along the way that instead took me on down The Skyline Drive/Blueridge Parkway.

I have not done the C&O Canal ride yet...planning it from Cumberland to Wash DC sometime this summer and next year to do the Wash DC to Pittsburgh ride in the Spring of 2007 to celebrate the completion of my Master's Degree! The idea that one can ride from PGH to DC on a bike path is way cool!
