Lake Michigan Circle Tour?

My brother and I are starting to look into riding around Lake Michigan in fall '07, and camp for most of it. (Start and finish in Chicago.) Anybody done it?

The closest thing I've done is the Michigander. Its an annual tour of the state done every summer. It won't follow that route, but I highly reccomend it if you want to see Michigan.
