    Divinci V-22 Rims

Does anyone have any experience with these rims, http://www.davincitandems.com/comp.html. I would like to build them up with to use for a touring bike for a very big (300 pounds) rider. I have also heard good things about some of the Velocity rims (the Dyad). Thanks for the help.

They look good--but I believe a good hand built set with the dyads, delgatos or A719s will be just as good. I run the velocity wheelset with dyads and have a set of A719s that I built myself. I'm not small and haul a large load. The delgatos I built for my boss are holding up well, and he's a big boy!

The Velocity Dyads have a good reputation. However, I had two of them on my tandem and had to replace them after less than 4000 or 5000 km. I have now installed A719, which are now only 2000 km old and still true. Besides that, I have a 3-year-old A719 on my single touring bike which has been used for about 10 000 km. Still true.
