Looking west to Penamint range. Looks somewhat like Alaska and not California.

Climbing from almost minus 300 feet to Sea level, about 20 miles into the ride.

One of my favorite hill climbs east of Fallbrook. Below are avocado and citrus groves.. Smells great in May. Did not mention first pic is of Scotty's Castle. On last Picture, that is Palomar Mountain way in the background. Elevation at top is about 6,500 feet.

How could I forget the lowest spot in the Western Hemisphere..Hydrate yourself. They say with each breathe you loose water, even if you are doing nothing. This location is known as 'Badwater.'
