WTB saddle

I see a WTB rocket on sale at Performance bike and I was wondering if any of you have tried it.I have a B17 now and it seems like everytime I leave the house it rains and I'll probably screw it up like I did with my last B17.I think I would probably keep the B17, but I was thinking about using the WTB until it starts clearing up in the spring. Or if I like it just leave it on there. I just got a bike fit and I'm almost affraid to touch the saddle, because of the knee pain I was having. Thanks for all replys, George

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

George, just treat the bottom the the saddle...not much, just enough to make it more water resistant. Also put a weather cover on the saddle and that Brooks will be fine!

The WTB Rocket V was the worst seat my ass has ever had the misforune of perching on. The curled up rear was a killer. I'd steer clear of it but everyones butts are different.

You can get a saddle cover at Wallbike: https://www.wallbike.com/brooks/veloxseatcover.html

I second this suggestion. You can find plastic saddles that work OK but NONE of them are even close to Brooks after it's broken in.

I just put a thin grocery bag over the seat and tie it up to the seat post in the rain. https://www.crazyguyonabike.com/revie..._id=41513&v=1l

The rocket is very narrow. I use the pure V on my mtb and really like it. But it's no brooks (b17s on all my other bikes).
