Vietnam is ok to tour in but some of the aint too friendly compared to other se asia countries, maybe its only my opinion but ive spent 2 + yeras in that part of the world and as far as cycling gioes id never go back to vietnam but would go to laos any day of the week, that said kids always go down well in nam so would perhaps make for a better experience, i often wondered if the fact that i was a white chap came into it and they thought i was american which i aint, probsably not much help?
