Howdy,

I plan on following the majority of that route this summer as well. I'm leaving from Phoenix, AZ and heading west to Laguna Beach. I'm undecided if I want to go south to Oceanside, only about 20 miles, and then east or if I want to go east from Laguna and meet up with the route somewhere in east Cali. Then I'm leaving the route somewhere in PA to head north to CT.

I started a thread on this topic a few weeks ago. There were a couple good posts and I've posted some info I received from the RAAM directors. If you go to their site and personally email them they are very helpful. Here's a link to my thread:

Anyone ever cycled the RAAM route?

I've posted the emails, pictures, and a set of instructions on how to read their directions. Matt
