REI Half Dome Tent Sale - $109.99

Just saw this and know several other tourers use it and thought I'd mention it. I bought it this winter myself, but have never seen it that low.
(And Thule racks are on sale too)

My kid works for REI and this is his favorite tent and he is a really hardcore backpacker and outdoor person. I think he has 4 or 5 tents and this is the one he and his wife take more often than not. They take the Mountain Hardwear in the winter cause its a 4 season and the half dome isn't. Its a great tent and its really nice and light for biking and of course backpacking

Thanks Shemp for the tip. This is the tent I had picked out. I think I will go pick it up this week.

Excellent tent, I've had mine for about two years now and couldn't ask for anything else. Well, I guess the only other thing I'd want in a tent is for it to pack to about half the size, but it already packs very small so I guess I'm asking too much!

Make sure you get the ground cloth! Depending on where you are going to pitch it, make sure you get the right stakes, the Y or T stakes work excellent.
