Front rack no go on roof rack

Front rack no go on roof rack
I feel like an idiot for not realizing this earlier, but once I put my front rack on my touring bike, I won't be able to put my bike on my car's roof rack. That's because I've got the kind of bike carriers that require you to remove your front wheel and my low rider front rack extends below the bottom of the fork. 
Such a simple thing to overlook. doh!
I guess I'm going to have to buy a bike carrier that allows me to keep both wheels on the bike. Anyone have one they want to trade for one of mine?
At least my car has folding rear seats so I can stuff my bike in the trunk if I want to drive to a start point for any weekend tours I take this Spring. I wonder what else I'm overlooking.

That's awesome. I should of known you mountain bikers would have something that works. 
I'm actually gonna see if I can get a used bike tray off craigslist which holds the bike with both wheels. I think that might be a little sturdier way to carry my beast of a commuter/touring bike. I lifted it onto my car roof today and couldn't believe how heavy it is. But then again, that was after lifting my friend's carbon fiber road bike. Not a fair comparison.
