Eire: Southern Ireland

On monday 28th may I sail to the Isle of Man and then on the 1st June I should be sailing to Eire.

Is anyone there?

I am a short fat hairy 58 yar old on a Thorn with BOB trailer, so please smile and say hello as you go past me.

hi george,what part of ireland are you planing on visiting,,im on north east coast,do you plan on touring the whole country,,or just the usual tourist spots,,nice pint of guinness if i meet you,,keep safe,,,,

jibj. You have studied your routing. I was there last November. Dublin is really congested. Rural roads are often busy and no shoulders. I am sure bike maps can get you around such areas.

At the moment my plans are Slea head, Ring of Kerry, Cork, Cliffs of Moher

Gap of Dunloe, Connor pass, Wicklow, Louth

Not necessarily in that order of course!!

But for a pint of Smithwicks I would cycle a thousand miles of broken glass, I have Marathon XR's, so it would be OK
