Touring with a dog in a trailer?

Hi I'm Mike Have you ever went on long bike tour with you dog in a trailer? Where did you go and how Far?

I plan to take my dog on tour of the cascade lakes in Oregon in Aug. I plan to go west around klamath lake.

I can only ride about 20 miles a day and have 3 weeks to make it back to the train station.

Do you have any Suggestions aon a trip like this?

here is a video i made last year of us riding in Marin Ca.

Looks like a cool way to travel. All I can think of is the advantage/disadvantage when you get chased by dogs?

thanks , yea we have allot of fun together. because we live at sea level and mainly train at 0 feet elevation i figure it's going to be a big consideration on how much i can push buddy each day being he has a black coat and has to work twice as hard as me. never to mention he is 60 lbs and the trailer is 25 lbs bike by its self 30lbs put on 50lbs of gear on top of all that I'm going to be surprised me move at all.(LOL) But yes i have done this trip before in 2004 When I rode solo from Klamath Falls To San Francisco Cal. 800 miles in five weeks. i tried to take buddy on a trip last year on a trip to big Sir but the wheel on the trailer broke in the next town. i bought a sturdy trailer this time and plan to take spare parts with me.
