Trailers and bags for trailers. Trip to Eastern Canada.
I'm planning a two or three week tour to Atlantic Canada or Newfoundland/Labrador. Thinking of getting a BOB trailer or the nashbar knockoff. Anybody have experiece with both of these? What are the differences?
And what about bags for your crap on the trailer? I've done a lot of backpacking, and I'm thinking of just tucking the straps under the trailer and using a pack... are there dedicated touring bags that are much better?
Any other good hints or pieces of advice?

Thanks for the recs on the bags -- but what about the nashbar knockoff of the BOB? Its more than $100 cheaper...

I seem to recall a journal on https://www.crazyguyonabike.com where someone used the Nashbar trailer, and during the ride the trailer had enough problems that he bought at BOB to finish the ride.

This guy? By day 5 he needs the Nashbar welded, and day 7 he replaces it with a BOB. By then he's calling it the SOB trailer. *EDIT= oops, had a typo for day 8, which was also wrong because I can't count!
My cousin has one for grocery hauling, she got it dirt cheap and didn't expect much from it. It has lived up to her low expectations. Any more than about 25 pounds and it shimmies and creaks. Every time I see her it looks rattier. However, she's pleased with the Nashbar dry bag for it, and it's also cheaper than the BOB dry sak.
There are other, better, one wheeled trailers that are cheaper alternatives to a brand new full price BOB. Check eBay, or try the TW Bents trailer.

take a look at the Croozer Travel Trailer. Very efficient and usable design. You may like the idea of having lots of room to arrange a load and then strap it down however you want to. I recommend different dry sacks for weather sensitive gear like they use for kayaking to hold different categories of gear, and a bungee net or good quality bungee cords to hold things down.

There is nothing wrong with using regular panniers in the trailer as long as they fit, i know on of the complaints i've read is that the Bob Dry Sack is just one large compartment, and you have to rummage through it.
