Malta?
Has anyone here been to Malta? I'm planning a month long tour next April/May of Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica and a little bit of Tuscany, and I just figured out that for the price of airfare to Catania, Sicily, I can fly to Malta and catch a catamaran ferry to Catania. I'm just wondering if 2+ days in Malta (arrive midday Wed., leave at dawn on Saturday) would be a good start to the trip, or if I should just start the trip in Catania.
Any thoughts, please?

Hi
I have been to Malta twice but not on my bicycle. The people are very friendly and everyone speaks good english.
They are now a member of the EU but don't use the euro yet. I think the euro is coming in a year or two.
Definitely worth a visit if you have the chance.
Its pretty hot there in the summer!!!

Every day a winding road
Malta is very tiny. Around 16 miles long. Two days should be plenty time to see it.
