Rail Trail to Port Dover

I'm trying to get from Brantford or Caledonia, Ontario to Port Dover via rail trails. I've been on the Gordon Claves Memorial Pathway, but got lost and ended up back in Brantford. I know there is the Lynne Valley Trail starting in Simcoe, but the question is how close does Gordon Claves get to Simcoe?

Any assistance would help.
