First tour...

First tour...
Im 19 ( almost 20) and have been fascinated with bike touring for years now. All i've done bike wise is ride around town everyday and the occasional mtb trail. When I have some time off from school I hopefully plan on doing a tour of some sort. My questions are, I live in florida and I was wondering if anyone around the area can give a good place to go or some routes or something that would be fun and good for a first tour. And second of all the only two bikes I have are a brakeless fixed conversion and an 06' gary fisher kaitai. Does the kaitai seem up to the challenge of being a tour bike?

Lots of potential tours in Florida, especially during fall, winter, and spring months (summers are rough for camping). For ideas, I recommend looking at this site:
