Mounting rack on Specialized Sequoia
I've got a 2006 Sequoia that I want to put a rack on. The problem is the left seat stay boss; it is hidded by the brake assembly. I can't go on the inside or outside of it. There is just not enough room. Is this a common problem with this bike? Do y'all have any suggestions as to how to make this work? The rack is a Topeka brand rack.

If the rack can be used with a single stay in the middle, you could mount it under the brake bolt. This was a common method when touring bikes had side pull brakes (I'm dating myself).

The bike is a 61cm. I'll take a picture and post it later. That will make my problem clearer, since I'm having difficulty describing the problem adequately. I did just attach the right rack connection and it is really stable. Nothing moves, but I'd like to have both connected.
Thanks for your reply. btw I'm down in Pueblo.
