Deore LX on Nashbar

Hi All,

I am in the middle of my first touring build and saw this crankset on Nashbar, a Shimano Deore LX FC-M572 Trekking Crankset with Chain Guard. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with it and if there is any reason I should look else and if so, to what? I'm using Shimano SL-R440-9 shifters if that matters.

Thanks very much!

LX is pretty darn good stuff, it would be great for a touring build. Make sure you get the right sized derailer to go with it.

cyccommute has been cheerleading that crank for months. It does seem like a good choice for a touring build. Make sure you can track down the BB that goes with it. They don't carry it on Nashbar.
