I don't bother camoing the bike, I lay it down and put it under the hex fly if necessary. Those damn Schwalbe tires have reflectors on the sidewalls so I sometimes cover them with black plastic bags.
In the places I camp, there is a lot of ground cover, so I usually don't need to worry. I've been known go out to a road or trail nearby and shine a flashlight in to see if anything reflects.
I was stealth camping near Bristol, England a few years ago. I was going along an old rail trail and about every mile or so was an old 19th century bridge running into a ravine space. Some of the portals had ruins in them, but I chose a wooded one for my hammock.
It must have been a festival that night because revellers walked along the trail and fired fireworks into the portals. I was asleep when the first one went off and I just about fouled myself! I lay in the hammock planning what to do before the next barrage. I decided to use a decoy. I walked up well away from by hammock and turned on a blinking LED light from my bike. It waved around in the wind on a tree branch to attract the attention of the pyromaniacs. I didn't sleep much though, until I heard the cop sirens. They cleared out soon after.
