I know that forum member Pel has done it. Send him a message. Also, I know that Bikeline has a map for the route, and their maps are simply the best that exist. www.bikeline.at

Thanks for that. Much appreciated.

I used the Bikeline map in the Black Forest last year, and it was invaluable.

Hey, Becnal, are you still the guy to talk to about rail travel in Germany? I'm thinking about flying into Friedrichshaven and out of Salzburg, but might end up having to do a return from Friedrichshaven. Do you know how long the ride from Salzburg to Friedrichshaven is, and roughly how much?

I certainly am! It's a 4 and a half-hour train-ride from Salzburg to Friedrichshafen. Full price is €65.

Hmmm, that makes it doable even if we get stuck with return flights. Thanks for that.
