Finally

After many years and much wishing I'm finally in the process of building my touring bike. I've even had the frame (56cm LHT in the CLASSIC and BEAUTIFUL Gang-green) for two years, but no money to do the work. Last week I dropped the frame off at the shop that's helping put it together. There's going to be a delay of a week or so, because it was getting shipped to Bilenkey to get S&S Couplers put on (I figured, why not) and they (Bilenkey) are out at the Handbuilt show right now. Soonish I hope to have more info on equipment and maybe some pics.

Any specifically loved/loathed components would be great to know about, otherwise I'm going with a middle of the road build with lots of input from the shop, which includes some old-schoolers.
