XM Radio Anyone?

Greetings. Last summer I carried an mp3 player with an FM radio built in. It was nice to sit and listen to public radio when I was sitting at my picnic table in the woods. However, the mp3 player's reception is far from awesome. For most of the tour there was no reception at all.

That gets me thinking about XM radio. It would be great to be able to tune into the world when I'm out in the middle of nowhere - not just music but sports, news, talk radio, etc.

Does anyone carry one? Is there a portable version? I see the Pioneer Inno2 advertised on BestBuy's website. Does anyone have one? How does it work for bike touring?

How good is the reception out in the woods. Do tall trees interfere with reception? How long does the battery last?

Any and all information would be welcome. Thanks!
