Seat Post Rack Recommendations
I'm looking for a lightweight seat post rack.
I want to do a tour around Lake Ontario ( ~ 10 days) this summer using my road bike and carrying the bare minimum - Just a change of clothing.
Anyone out there used one they liked.???

I have a pretty good quality seat post rack from Nashbar with a quick release. It's pretty good, and would probably fit the bill for you if you are carrying just a change of clothing. The nice thing is you can whip this rack off in about 5 seconds.
However, if you are considering anything more than just a change of clothes, I wouldn't recommend it, nor any seatpost racks. No matter how hard you tighten the clamp around the seatpost, it really doesn't take that much weight in a pannier to swing it off true. Secondly, I got this rack for my folding bike (which I know isn't applicable to you) but decided not to use it after seeing a crack in the frame of the same kind of folding bike I have -just where the seatpost enters the frame. The point is the seatpost rack placed extra stress on the seatpost with any appreciable weight -that might be something to consider.
So if you are really just using it for a change of clothes, then I think you should be fine; but anything heavier and I believe you would be much better off with a "regular" rack and use p-clamps to attach it if you do not have the appropriate rack mounts.

I think they are a bad idea. Try a Carradice bag with a Bagman support.
