All ready to leave tomorrow - I can't sleep!

Just finished packing for a 2-day camping tour this weekend. All the camping stuff is in a big stuff sack tied to my rack, and panniers are packed.

When I get home from work tomorrow, I pull the batteries off the charger, pack the few bits of food in the fridge, load the bags on the bike and pedal over to the train station.

My buddy will meet me in Paoli, PA, and we'll start out Saturday morning. I'm not new to touring, but this'll be my first time camping, with or without a bike.

I'm in the celtic folk fusion band Baroque and Hungry. "Mended", our new full-length studio album, is now available for download.

    Have a ball!

First advice......look for sticks and rocks where you are going to pitch the tent.....

Try to put the tent up on softer ground as well.

Sounds like it will be a blast. I've camped alot and ridden bicycles alot, but never combined the two. I'm collecting supplies right now so I can do some touring/overnight camping soon. Let us know how it goes.

I think, on the whole, you did OK.
