Buying things from overseas??
In the last week I have contacted several companies overseas (primarily in the UK and Germany) regarding items not available here in the U.S. that I am interested in or would like to order. For some reason, every single one of them will not sell to me because I am in the U.S. Since when is that a problem? For instance, I tried to order some mud flaps from the UK yesterday and offered to pay the postage/shipping costs. They e-mailed me to say that hey could not sell to me because there insurance would not allow it? Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I might be able to order from overseas?

I've ordered a Thorn frame and several different accessories from St. John Street Cycles - transactions were painless and delivery was prompt.
Don't feel bad - I'm in Canada and had US companies that wouldn't sell/ship stuff to me....lol...what can you do?
