Bow Valley Bike Tour [Surly Big Dummy]

I loaded up my Surly Big Dummy and hit the road with 2 friends this past weekend for some bike touring fun in the Canadian Rockies. If you'd like to read the tour report click here and for my Flickr photos click here.

The Big Dummy performed well with a ridiculous load and I can see the appeal of touring on one for those trips that require you to haul a lot of supplies. I normally travel quite lightly so it was a revelation riding a bike that could easily carry more cargo than I was able to pedal uphill.
