Fishing for Wisconsin info again...

Leaving for my western Wisconsin tour before long. I already know where I'll be laying my head each night, but somewhat clueless on keeping the tank topped off with fuel.

So...can anyone recommend any good restaurants in the towns listed below? Extra appreciation points for buffets.
Duluth, MN
Danbury, WI
St Croix Falls, WI
Prescott, WI
Alma, WI
La Crosse, WI
Prairie du Chien, WI
Cassville, WI
Dubuque, Iowa

Thanks for any info.

It has been my experience in Wisconsin that the little taverns/bars in the little towns are universally great places to eat while on tour! These joints are usually Mom & Pop operations heavy on fried and doughy stuff but on tour I figure I'll burn it off. In northern Wisconsin the local bowling alleys are often the best place to eat in town. (If you go into a bowling alley on Friday night-- get the fried walleye all you can eat dinner.)

I gotta agree with Lambkin55, all the towns you mentioned are very cool with special character.
I would take time to enjoy, especially St Croix Falls. Its really, really nice this time of year.
I'll be there Wednesday.
Prairie du Chien(of the dog) has a cool family buffet called Hungry house I think. Right next to the
Bris bois Inn.
Awesome breakfast buffet!
