This strikes me as an interesting tour.....The Trail of Death, anyone?

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Trail of Death....

A bit of midwestern history. Looks like a nice little 660 mile route, if I can work out the details....

Just don't die on the trip. That would definitely make the news.

Well, I've done the Williamsport, IN to Quincy, IL enough times that unless you try to take on a certain sandwich from a certain bar in Meredosia, IL where you'll be crossing the Illinois River, I think you'll make it. Take on that sandwich and your odds go down dramatically

Yeah, I understand and actually agree. There are markers along the way where the Potawatomi's camped on the way. I see this as a way to remember them and their trials by doing it on a bike and under my own power.

Routed right, it'll be cornfields and small towns, mostly.
Rural Indiana, Illinois and Missouri and a bit of Kansas. I'm currently researching camping along the way, so I don't know yet.
