Touring Bike Advice
Hi - I'm looking to buy a touring bike and I think I have decided on a Ridgeback Panorama. I've seen very little on this bike (in this forum there are three posts, but not especially detailed, and they are all rather old). I wondered whether anyone has experiences, either good or bad, with this bike? - The other option is a Dawes Galaxy, but I didn't find it as comfy, it comes with less (gear change is especially off-putting, and especially neat on the Panorama) and I rather resent the racing green paint job...
Many thanks!

I just viewed the specifications on the bike and it seems like a fine touring model. You may also consider inquiring about that make of bicycle on one of the British cycling forums:

Well I took the plunge and, after the first weekend, can report that I am very happy! Incredibly comfortable, fast, and also virtually silent, which I like.
Thanks for the advice and encouragement.
