what about this route - your comments??

Colorado

from Monte Vista north on 285 to Saguache, then north on 114 to hwy 50, then west on 50 thru Gunnison, to hwy 149, then south on 149 to south fork, then 160 east to Monte Vista.

comments? road dangers? steepness? campgrounds? Motels?

and is it better to run the 'circle' the other direction?

thanks in advance for the comments

I may be missing something but it appears you asked the same question(s) a few days ago in the following thread.

Good answers there.

The only part with real traffic is US 160 from South Fork back to Monte ( a little on 285 to Center (about 10 miles)) and 160 has a nice shoulder. Good luck on the ride!
