German Costal defences, N.France?
My friend and I are probably going to cycle from either Calais or Dunkirk to Flanders next spring. We were hoping to see some of the remnants of Fortress Europe on the way. Anyone know of any good examples in the area?

Not sure how this fits into your route...but we did stuff in the Caen area up to Point do Hoc when my wife and I were there in June. Really want to go back and spend a week or two in the north of France. One day for this was nowhere near enough. Biking it would be perfect!

Thanks for that. It might be a bit out of our way, as we only have limited time, maybe about 7 days, and we want to see the ww1 sites at Flanders. It would be nice to start at the Normandy beaches - I'll have to see how much farther it is.
Great shots, though, really enjoyed looking through them. Can you tell me, what software did you use to construct the gallery? Was it Porta?

Sure, the gallery I use is Imagevuex I find it really easy to work with and flexible enough.
Have fun on your trip!
