I just picked this up today. an 08 jamis satellite.
Reynolds 520 (4130 steel) double butted tubing.
Carbon Jamis fork.
Tiagra DRs
FSA Vero Cranks
sora brifters
tektro brakes (not sure what kind)
I really like the Geometry, there isnt much slope in the top tube and the stem is on level with the seat.
Ill keep it posted on the ride when I take it out tomorrow for a ~30 mi. ride.

Just took her out for a ride this morning. Lots of cyclists out and very few cars. excellent. Unfortunately I am a bit sick and didnt eat much so I ended up bonking like crazy. The bike rides extremely smoothly between the carbon fork and steel, and I really like the added steering precision of carbon.

That's a claim for carbon I haven't heard before!

Anyway, congratulations on your new bike. May you enjoy many happy miles on it!
