Nashbar has some bags on sale...
got an email from nashbar today, they're doing another 72% off 72 items for 72 hours - this happened to include the daytrekker panniers for $13.99
also of note were two versions of the rack trunk on sale for $14.99 and the big waterproof panniers are $39.99 iirc.
The day trekkers were on sale a month or two ago and I was bummed when my hobby $ came in a few days late for the sale... so I'm pretty happy to have been able to order a set this time along with a rack trunk.
bit by bit I've been getting stuff together for my rig... hopefully for some weekend trips sometime this year.

oh man! I meant to get one of those handle bar bags too! dangit. Ah well - I'll catch em next time... not worth the $6 shipping to get it on it's own...

Dude, thanks a ton for posting this. I just grabbed the panniers and handlebar bag for $29. Save me about $100 from the setup I was scoping at M.E.C.
