Brooks Saddle too short?
Bought what I thought was a standard Brooks b17 on ebay. Received a womans. The difference is 3.5 cm in length. Do you think this is a big deal? Should I mount it or return it?

In a job lot of three saddles I got a "S" (small, ladies) Brooks "professional", after trying the other two men's saddles & finding the "colt" the most comfy I thought what the heck, I'll try the "ladies" saddle just to see what its like, to my suprise its the most comfortable.
Speaking as a male, I don't know why saddles are so long, I find the shorter saddle much better, how should I say, well, less to get in the way ...if you know what I mean! Still the same amount to sit on in the area of the "sit bones".
If your saddle is used or difficult to return give it a go, it might suit you, might not, nobody but you can decide that, if not sell it on.
Please no jokes about me using a women's saddle!

Brooks' ladies "S" saddles are generally slightly wider than the corresponding mens saddles.
