Bicycle Touring Book Free Lending Library

Since bike touring books are tough to find at the local library I thought we might start our own lending library here.

I've got a copy of the book "The Memory of Running" by Ron McLarty. If you are interested in reading it send me a PM with your U.S. mailing address and I will mail it to you by Media Mail for free. One stipulation; You must agree to mail it to the next person for free using Media Mail which costs just a few dollars.

If you have a bicycle touring book you would like to lend please list it below along with the country you will ship to for free.

    Happy reading!

I have close to forty bike touring books that range from the 1970's to quite recent ones that I would like to donate to this cause. However, I would prefer to send them in bulk to a centralized US repository to handle any further lending. Suggestions on how to structure this are welcome.

Many are dated, hardback and have only historically useful information or are just good inspiring reads---
9 Dervla Murphy; 2 Bettina Selby; 2 Bodfish California Guides; 12 California tour guides on and off road; AYH N. American Bicycle Atlas(1973); Colwell's Guide to Bicycle trails (1974); Rakowski Adventure Cycling in Europe (1981); Karen&Gary Hawkins Bicycle Touring In Europe (1980); Lloyd Sumner-The Long Ride (1978); Bernard Magnouloux-Travels With Rosinante (1988); Dan Buettner- Sovietrek Across Russia and a few others.

They are all nice to have on my shelf but I have read and learned from them and now other cyclists should have access to them.

Why not utilize the "For Trade" list for this?
