Good routes in South France
Greetings all,
I'm planning a bike tour from Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany to Cremona, Italy. The current plan is to start by following along with TdF in Colmar and Besancon (probably not Verbier) before heading south and riding along the Cote d'Azur: Marseille - St. Tropez - San Remo etc. Between Besancon and Avignon I have no set route, and from my map it all just looks like beautiful countryside. I am looking for info from people who have done tours in the area; are there any particularly good stretches between these two cities, or is it all good?
