Tires for the 26 Inch Wheeled LHT

What tires you guys use on your 26 inch wheeled LHT? After 1,200 miles my rear WTB slickasaurus is wearing pretty thin, and I'm getting some flats...

Thoughts?

Over 4200 miles on the rear now and it looks like it will go at least another 4200!

I'm running 26x1.75 Conti Top Touring tires. Last year we did a 12 day 520 mile tour with no flats at all. I have slime tubes in mine. I'd like to go to Schwalbe tires but I'm going to run these Contis out.

We are leaving a an hour or so for a 7-10 day tour around SW Colorado so I'll see how they do again.

1.5 Schwalbe Marathon Racers. Been on since it was built up last august and 5,000km (3,000 on a recent New Zealand tour) and no flats to date. I really dig these tires, work great on any type of pavement and provide lots of comfort on gravel and dirt backroads.

Moved from the "Suckasauruses" to the Marathon's in 1.75. Very happy.

I'll just jump in and add that I, too, still have the slickasauruses on my LHT and they're absolutely horrendous. The rubber is really really soft. I get, on average, about one flat every 30-50 miles. If I had more money they would have been gone ages ago. I think that if you upgrade from these tires to anything that is remotely quality it would be an immense improvement.
