Any idea where to host pics while on a tour?

I decided to pick up a nice camera (Canon T1i) for my cross-country bike trip. I'll be bringing it and a Macbook Pro on the road with me, but I was wondering how best to post them for people to see. Are there any sites that'll let me post large-sized pics that aren't crammed down into tiny, lossy photos? Preferably not horribly expensive.

hey, in case you don't know Flickr.com, it's become a standard for many amateur and professionals photographers to post photos online. They do require a pro account ($25/year) to let you view and share the full sized uncompressed images, otherwise, with a free account there's a 100mb/month upload limit and they compress and scale images down to 1024w.

I'm not a digital photo pro by any means, but flickr is a really easy to use (by both you and your viewers), so I'd recommend using it.

I use Flickr. If you go for a multi-year account it's less than $25/year.

Do you have a mac account? I prefer using that for pictures and such. It does cost money but includes a lot of extras, email, web galleries, website hosting, and more. Anyway, most people don't want to pay for an account, but I think it's worth it, especially if you use a mac comp or iphone.

I use Smugmug. The "Power" account lets you add a domain name (need to buy the name) and full customization. MY whole site is built using Smugmug. Zenfolio is in the same vein, a little cheaper and simpler but much less customization available.
