Anyone tried Endura Humvee shorts or J&G patrol shorts?

Need to buy another set of baggy shorts sometime soon. Debating between the Humvee from endura or the patrol shorts from J&G? Anyone have any comments to help me decide?

I've got the J&G patrol shorts and while they are indestructible and full featured, I'd opt for another pair of their touring short if I had to do it again. The patrol shorts have tons of pockets, huge belt loops lined in velcro and really are comfortable if your on and off the bike a lot. They have no chamois.

The touring shorts are lighter fabric with a very thin chamois and for me are better for long periods in the saddle. I can ride either pair, but usually reach for the tourers when riding and use the patrols for hiking and day sight-seeing when I'm carrying extra stuff in pockets.

I like my Endura Humvees, but I prefer my Ground Effect Supertankers.

Those look nice I might order a pair, any other suggestions? Looking for sturdy, padded, durable shorts with lots of pockets. I have a pair of big hoss ponderosas and like them, just seeing if I can do better.

J&G Patrol Shorts

You mention that you're looking for padded shorts, and the J&G Patrol Shorts (although great - I have three pair) do not have an integrated pad. If I'm going to be on the bike for any length of time, I wear regular padded bike shorts underneath the Patrol Shorts.
