Completed my tour around Lake Ontario
Thanks to everyone who offered advice and tips over the last couple of years. I completed my tour around Lake Ontario last weekend.
Here's the Crazy Guy on a Bike link:

It was planned for 8 days, but I finished in 7.

Read the whole thing. Being from Toronto I've been thinking about doing the same ride, your insights were great and it was a good read.
I look forward to hearing about your future rides!
Cheers.

congratulations!
Except for the weather sounds like you had a great time
You're rigth doing it counterclockwise would have been easier.
I did it counterclockwise last summerhttps://www.geocities.com/pathebikeguy/lakeontario.html

Cool page. I'll look more closely after work today.
Thanks for the confirmation regarding the counterclockwise route. Sounds like you got your share of bad weather, too.

Congrats on finishing the trip
I biked around it earlier this summer and had a blast. I have some of the exact same pictures as you...especially the ones on the ferries, brought back some memories.
Looks like you found out the hard way about the bridge being closed in Rochester too? I thought I'd save some time when I found out that the bridge was closed and take the 104 expressway across the bay...not one of my greatest ideas.
I doubt it'll be much help to you now but, heres the journal of my trip if your interested: https://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/AroundLakeOntario

Pretty cool trip Ivank-, thanks.
You rode right by my house in Three Mile Bay, NY. It's between Cape Vincent(the ferry port) and Dexter. I appreciate you NOT mentioning the horrendous road construction project that's going on in my little town...

No worries! Have you ever been on Ontario roads? NY roads under construction area step up!
You live in great cycling territory. You're lucky!
