SON hub connectors spinning?
Just got my new wheel with a SON generator hub. The 2 connectors on the right side spin along with the wheel causing the wire to wrap around the axle. Shouldn't the 2 connectors remain stationary while the hub spins?
Thanks
Thanks

They should indeed stay put. Don't try "adjusting" anything. Return to distributor.
I'm assuming you have the hub properly clamped in dropouts, either w/ QR or allen head skewer the SON c/w.

Did you have the nob-ends at the bike shop repair anything on your bike recently? It sounds to me like maybe someone has tried to 'fix' the 'notchy' bearings and severed the connection inside the hub.... agree with randochap, look into a warranty...
also,
make sure your QR is tight. If it is too loose, the whole hub will spin, contacts and all.
