T minus two weeks and counting

I'm leaving for my first tour in 2 weeks. its to be a 200+ mile loop. advice/comments?

+1 for being prepaired for bad weather as in keep warm and dry,smell the roses.for god sake make sure your head is in the wright frame of mind ,what's your map reading skills like how fast can you pitch your tent what comforts have you in that tent to keep you sain/ happy.if your cooking, pasta is a life saver as is cheese tea/coffee/milk/sugar. small radio i reckon is a must especally if your on your own .hope you have a great time let us know how you get on .

Have a flat? Don't forget to carefully check the inside of the tire for the culprit and carry a pair of needle nose to pull the wire/nail out.

Stay well hydrated and eat frequently.

Journal your ride. It'll make you more observant of the scenery and of the people you meet. Be sure to include personal trials/tribulations, highs and lows. Makes for a more interesting read.
